So I was at dinner today and I was talking with a friend of mine that I hadn’t seen in a really long time. As I’m talking with her, I notice this guy that I like and think is really cute walk by our table. I hear the sound of something drop and I briefly turn around to see what happened. When I realized it was him, I turned away again from the girl I was talking to and tried to find the utensil so that I could pick it up and hand it to him myself, just to have an excuse to interact with him. However, because I was already in conversation with another friend, I didn’t want to be rude and spend too much time looking for it so rather than finding it, I returned to my conversation. Ugh… the problems that come along with being a considerate friend. Hopefully I’ll get another opportunity, because that one was just too perfect.
